Description

The Knightsbridge GU10 track spotlight is a directional fitting built from die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coat finish and a plastic track connector for standard three-circuit track systems. The spotlight head measures 60mm diameter by 82mm length with a 127mm total projection from the track, housing a single GU10 lamp socket rated to 50W maximum.

Designed for residential and commercial track lighting installations, the fitting provides 350° rotation around the track axis and 180° tilt from horizontal to vertical, allowing light to be directed onto walls, worksurfaces, artwork or retail display zones. The GU10 socket accepts both LED and halogen retrofit lamps (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature, beam angle and output based on the application. Dimming capability depends on the lamp fitted — most GU10 LEDs are dimmable, but compatibility with specific dimmer modules should be confirmed before installation.

The die-cast aluminium construction dissipates heat effectively when used with higher-wattage halogen lamps, while the black finish provides a neutral appearance that recedes visually against dark ceilings or contrasts cleanly against white. The Class I earthed construction and IP20 rating suit dry indoor environments including kitchens (excluding zones 1-2), living rooms, bedrooms, offices, galleries and retail spaces. The spotlight clips onto standard track rails without tools, and the track connector includes a twist-lock mechanism to hold the fitting in position once adjusted.

Is it compatible with standard track systems?
