Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'Oven' in a polished chrome finish, designed to fit modular grid switch systems. The rocker measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the mounting plate, and is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel spring mechanism inside.

Used in kitchens and utility rooms where dedicated circuits control fixed appliances, the marked rocker allows occupants to identify which switch controls the oven without needing to test multiple outlets. The rocker clips into place on a standard grid switch module, replacing a blank or existing marked rocker. Installation requires no rewiring — the existing switch mechanism stays in place and only the visible rocker cover is changed.

The polished chrome finish matches Knightsbridge's wider polished chrome grid range, giving a consistent appearance across multiple switch modules mounted in the same plate. This rocker fits Knightsbridge's modular grid switch systems, where individual switch modules are mounted into multi-gang grid plates. It will not fit traditional screw-fixed switches or screwless plates — only grid modules.

Can I change the rocker without rewiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the existing switch module mechanism. You remove the old rocker by gently prising it off and clip the new one into place. No electrical work is required and the power does not need to be isolated to change the rocker.
