Description
The Knightsbridge BT14EG is a grey polycarbonate eyelid accessory designed for the BT14 range of 14W LED bulkheads. The eyelid clips onto the face of the bulkhead and creates a hooded shield over the top half of the diffuser, reducing upward light spill and directing light output downward and forward.
Designed for corridors, external walls, and installations where glare control is needed, the eyelid reduces direct view of the LED module when approaching from the side or from above. This makes the fitting more comfortable in low-ceiling corridors and on external walls where the bulkhead is mounted at or above head height. The 320mm diameter matches the BT14 bulkhead body, and the eyelid pushes onto the existing bulkhead without tools or additional fixings.
The grey polycarbonate finish matches the grey-bodied variants in the BT14 range and provides UV and impact resistance for outdoor use. The eyelid adds 69mm of projection from the wall when fitted, bringing the total projection of the bulkhead assembly to approximately 125-135mm depending on the specific BT14 model. The accessory is compatible with all BT14 14W LED bulkheads including emergency, sensor, corridor function, and CCT-adjustable variants.

Frequently Asked
Which BT14 bulkheads is this compatible with?
The eyelid fits all BT14 14W LED bulkhead models including standard, emergency, sensor, corridor function, dimmable, and CCT-adjustable versions. It matches the 320mm diameter of the BT14 body and clips onto the face of the diffuser.
How is it fitted?
The eyelid pushes onto the face of the BT14 bulkhead and clips into place without tools or additional fixings. The bulkhead does not need to be removed from the wall to fit the eyelid.
Does it affect light output?
The eyelid shields the top half of the diffuser, reducing upward light spill and directing output downward and forward. Total lumen output is reduced by approximately 30-40% due to the shielding, but glare is significantly reduced when viewed from the side or above.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The polycarbonate construction is UV-resistant and impact-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor installations where the BT14 bulkhead is rated for exterior use.
