Description

The Goldenberry is a ceiling light made from ribbed blown glass in two tones: a wide, rounded amber shade sits above a taller grey section, joined by an iron collar, with an iron canopy at the ceiling and a slim iron band at the base. The ribs run top to bottom on both pieces of glass, so the glass catches the light in soft vertical lines. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or change. It draws 10W and gives 600 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, a soft, moderate level suited to a calm room rather than a bright workspace. With a colour rendering index of 90 or more, wood, fabric and skin tones look natural beneath it, and its 360 degree beam sends light out in every direction.

It fixes flush to the ceiling, with no stem or chain, so it suits bedrooms, landings, hallways and living rooms where you want a warm, decorative light overhead without anything hanging down. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs on an ordinary on-off switch and is not dimmable; for a lower glow later in the evening, pair it with a table lamp.
