Description

The large Gola is 12cm across and 10cm high, three centimetres wider and four taller than the small. The same uneven rim runs round it and the same mottling covers it, but over a deeper wall the dark patches read heavier and the clear ones let more light through.

Ten centimetres of height puts the flame well down inside, so from standing the glow shows and the wick does not. Paired with the small one and both lit, the difference in height staggers the two flames. At 0.45kg it is half as heavy again as the small.

The glass is recycled and blown by hand, so the rim and the mottling come out differently on every one. A 9cm Gola runs alongside it. The tealight is not included.

Frequently Asked

How big is it?

12cm across and 10cm high.

What candle does it take?

A tealight.

Is there a smaller size?

Yes, 9cm across.

Will every one look the same?

Close, but not identical. Each one is blown by hand and the rim is left uneven on purpose.

How do I look after it?

Wash it in warm water with a mild dish soap after every use so that wax does not build up, and keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners off it. Stand the tealight securely and keep the flame away from the glass. It gets hot in use, so let it cool fully before handling it, keep it out of reach of children, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
