Description

The Glistis is an 80cm dual-ring LED suspension light with two interlocking circular hoops finished in white powder-coated metal. An integrated 55W LED runs along the inner edge of each hoop behind an opal rubber diffuser strip, casting soft 3000K warm-white light downward and outward across the rings. The two hoops sit at different angles to create depth and visual movement from multiple viewing positions.

Designed for open-plan living spaces, dining areas and commercial reception areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Glistis works as both ambient and statement lighting. The 750mm adjustable cable allows the fitting to be positioned 500-700mm below the ceiling rose depending on room height and desired visual weight. The 80cm outer diameter suits spaces where a single central fitting needs to cover a 3-4m table or seating arrangement without requiring multiple fixtures.

The white powder-coated metal finish is applied over a steel frame, giving the rings structural rigidity without visible joints or seams along the curves. The opal rubber diffuser wraps continuously around each ring, hiding the LED strip and preventing glare when viewed from below or the side. The non-dimmable driver is housed in the ceiling canopy, keeping the rings themselves slim at 240mm in height. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoor covered area?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Glistis to dry indoor environments only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor location including covered patios.

What size table or room does it suit?

The 80cm outer diameter works over dining tables or kitchen islands in the 2.5-4m length range, and suits rooms with floor areas of 15-25m² where a single central fitting provides ambient light. Larger spaces may need supplementary lighting or a second fixture.
