Description

The Glissa is a 550mm LED bar spotlight with four independently adjustable heads, each housing an integrated 3000K LED behind a white plastic diffuser. The bar itself is matt white painted metal with chrome pivot joints at each spotlight head, allowing each light to rotate and tilt independently. The fitting mounts directly to a wall or ceiling and projects 80mm from the mounting surface.

Designed for kitchens, corridors, home offices and living rooms where multiple directed light sources are needed from a single fitting point, the Glissa provides task lighting without requiring four separate ceiling penetrations. Each head can be angled towards worktops, artwork, reading positions or doorways depending on the room layout. The 550mm bar suits spaces where a single pendant would obstruct movement but ceiling-mounted downlights cannot be retrofitted.

The matt white finish on the metal bar and spotlight housings blends with white or light-coloured ceilings and walls, while the chrome pivot joints add definition at each articulation point. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and fixed at 3000K warm white, removing the need for separate bulb purchases but limiting colour temperature flexibility. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only — bathrooms and outdoor installations are not suitable.

No. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and operate at fixed output on 230V mains. If dimming is required, consider a bar spotlight with GU10 or E14 fittings that accept dimmable bulbs.

Can it be fitted to a ceiling or wall?

Yes. The Glissa mounts to either surface using the 550mm backplate. When ceiling-mounted the heads angle down towards task areas; when wall-mounted they can be directed across a room or upwards for wash lighting.

What's the beam angle on each head?

Ideal Lux does not publish a specific beam angle for this model. The white plastic diffuser spreads the light from each LED more broadly than an open reflector spotlight, producing a softer, less directional beam than typical GU10 spotlights.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting offers no protection against moisture and must only be installed in dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.
