Description

The Glim is a 655mm four-head bar spotlight with individually adjustable white powder-coated metal housings, each fitted with a GU10 socket. The four heads rotate and tilt independently on ball joints, allowing light to be directed onto specific areas of a room or used together to wash a wider section of wall or ceiling.

Designed for ceiling or wall mounting, the Glim suits kitchens where task lighting is needed over worktops or islands, living rooms requiring accent lighting on artwork or shelving, and hallways where directional light can highlight architectural features. The 120mm projection from the mounting surface keeps the fixture close to the wall or ceiling without dominating the space. Each head accepts a GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and output depending on the bulbs chosen.

The white powder-coated finish provides a clean, neutral appearance that pairs with both modern and traditional interiors without adding visual weight. The metal construction gives the bar rigidity so the heads stay in position once adjusted, avoiding the drift common in lighter plastic fittings. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific GU10 bulbs installed — pairing with dimmable LED GU10s allows brightness control from a compatible wall dimmer.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The Glim takes four GU10 bulbs (sold separately). Most users pair it with 5-7W LED GU10 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general interior lighting, or cool white (4000K) for task lighting in kitchens.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible, but dimming functionality depends on the GU10 bulbs installed. Pair with dimmable LED GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch to achieve brightness control.

Can each head be adjusted independently?

Yes. Each of the four heads rotates and tilts on a ball joint, allowing independent direction. This lets you direct all four onto a single feature, spread them across a wall, or mix focused and wash lighting in the same fitting.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the Glim is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry interior spaces. It is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
