Glaera 2 Light Outdoor LED Wall Light 11W 3000K - White

The Glaera is a 100mm cube outdoor wall light with dual integrated 11W LEDs that cast light both upward and downward through tempered glass apertures on the top and bottom faces. The body is die-cast aluminium finished in powder-coated white, with an IP65 rating that protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.

Designed for exterior walls on porches, patios, doorways and garden pathways, the Glaera provides functional up-down wash lighting that defines vertical surfaces and casts pools of 3000K warm white light onto the ground and wall above. The 90mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the building line while the 100mm square face gives enough aperture width for the dual LEDs to spread light effectively. The non-dimmable integrated LEDs simplify installation to a single mains connection without requiring separate driver boxes or controls.

The white internal reflector behind each glass panel directs the LED output outward rather than allowing spill into the fitting body, maximising the visible light output at 3000K. The powder-coated aluminium finish resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments, and the tempered glass panels withstand impact and thermal cycling better than standard glass. At 100mm square the Glaera sits comfortably on brick or render without dominating smaller wall areas, and the white finish blends with painted masonry or renders.

What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the fitting is fully protected against dust and can withstand water jets from any direction. It is suitable for exposed exterior walls, porches, patios and garden areas where rain, wind-driven moisture and dust are present.

Does the light shine up and down or just one direction?

The Glaera casts light both upward and downward from two separate integrated LEDs. One LED illuminates through the top glass aperture onto the wall above, the other through the bottom aperture onto the ground or step below.

Can it be installed on coastal properties?

Yes. The powder-coated die-cast aluminium body resists corrosion better than mild steel or non-coated finishes, making it suitable for coastal and high-humidity environments where salt spray and moisture are common.

Is the LED replaceable if it fails?

The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty covering LED failure and other manufacturing defects. LED modules are typically rated for 25,000-50,000 hours of operation.
