Description

The Ginevra is a round LED wall and ceiling light, 80cm across and 14cm tall, finished in matt white on its outer band with a brass inner face. A white diffuser sits across the underside. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and it gives 6518lm or 6743lm depending on the version, from 69W or 71W. A CRI of 90 means colours and skin tones look natural beneath it. It comes in 2700K, 3000K or 6500K: 2700K is the warmest, 3000K a soft warm white and 6500K a crisp daylight white.

At 80cm across, this is a light for a generous room: a large living room, an open-plan space, a wide hallway or an office where one fitting has to light the whole space. It sits close to the ceiling, which suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low, and it can go on a wall as well, so it also works on a stairwell wall or above shelving. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Choose 2700K or 3000K for living rooms and bedrooms, and 6500K where you want a bright, cool white for work.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician, on a ceiling or a wall. It comes DALI or push dimmable, or non-dimmable: choose the DALI or push dimmable version, with compatible DALI controls or a push switch, for rooms where you want to bring the light down in the evening, and the non-dimmable version where it simply needs to switch on and off. The matt white band sits quietly against a white ceiling or wall, leaving the brass inner face as a fine ring of colour. Tell your electrician which colour temperature and dimming version you have chosen before the work starts, so the controls are ready.
