Description

The Giano is a slim linear LED wall light: a clean rectangular bar 51.8cm long and 9.8cm tall, with a plain, flat front and a line of light along its length. We offer it in white or black. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs at 19W and gives 1228 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a CRI of 90, which means colours, skin tones and wood grain look true rather than washed out.

It belongs in the living room, along a dining room wall or in the bedroom, where a long line of light is calmer than a single bright point. Its narrow profile sits neatly above a sideboard, a headboard or a run of shelving, and a pair spaced along one wall gives a longer, balanced line of light. Choose white to let it sit quietly against a pale wall, or black for a crisp, graphic line against timber or a deep paint colour. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

We offer it in two versions: non-dimmable, which simply switches on and off, or DALI or push dimmable, for rooms where you want to bring the light down in the evening. The dimmable version is controlled by a DALI system or a push switch, so decide with your electrician which suits the wiring in your home before you choose. Every Giano runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician; as a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. Either finish keeps the same plain rectangular form, so a white one and a black one in different rooms still look like a matched pair. Measure the wall first: at 51.8cm long it wants a clear stretch with a little room either side. Our photographs show the white version.
