Description

The Giano is a linear LED pendant light in a black finish: a slim aluminium bar 201.8cm long, 9.8cm tall and 4.2cm wide that hangs level on two suspension wires. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change, and a diffuser runs the full length of its underside to give one even line of light. It produces 6055 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a beam angle of 60° and a CRI of 90, so colours look true under it. Depending on the version, it draws 70W or 72W.

At 201.8cm long, it is made for a long dining table, where a single fitting lights the whole run from end to end, or for a living room that wants a clean line of light above a sideboard or a coffee table. It hangs on a drop of up to 200cm, so it suits high ceilings as well as standard ones. We offer it in two versions: non-dimmable, or DALI or push dimmable. The dimmable version lets you bring the light down for a relaxed evening meal, from a DALI control system or a push switch, while the non-dimmable version suits a room where the light goes on and off. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms only.

The black finish keeps the profile crisp and understated, and its straight, squared lines sit easily in a modern interior or beside traditional furniture. With the diffuser running along the underside, the bar reads as one clean shape whether the light is on or off. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. As a practical note, measure your table before you order: at this length, it looks best over a table long enough to leave a little clearance at each end.
