Description

Four hanging decorations, each a cluster of iron leaves cut and shaped by hand and woven together at the top of a stem. Each one is 12cm long overall and 6cm across the leaves. The metal carries an aged green patina, so the colour sits unevenly over the leaves rather than covering them flat. A green velvet tie is fixed at the top of each.

Twelve centimetres of drop is longer than a bauble and a good deal narrower, so these hang in the gaps between branches rather than sitting on them. Hung from a bare branch a hand apart, the leaves separate into individual shapes instead of reading as one mass.

The metal is iron and each leaf is cut, shaped and woven by hand, so no two clusters open the same way. Four are supplied.
