Description

The Garota S/02 is a generous outdoor pendant light: a woven globe shade in Ivory White, gently flattened, 72cm across and 46cm tall. It is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre, and its open weave lets the light glow through. It comes in two light source versions. The LED version has an integrated LED, so it needs no bulb, and gives 610 lumens of warm 2700K light from 17.1W, with a CRI of 90 for true, natural colours. The E27 version takes two E27 bulbs, not included, up to 15W per bulb, so you choose the bulbs yourself.

Rated IP66, it is made for outdoor use, so it can hang from a pergola, over a covered terrace or above a garden dining table. It is just as much at home indoors, over a dining table or in a living room with a high ceiling, where a shade 72cm wide holds its own in a large space. Several hung in a row over a long table suit a restaurant or a busy family dining room. The LED version is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can bring the light down low for a long evening meal outside.

It hangs on a 150cm cable from a canopy 12cm across, with tensor wires running 33cm to the shade, and the drop can be set anywhere from 108cm to 229cm to suit your ceiling or pergola. The Garota S/02 is a Class I mains fitting at 230V, to be wired in by a qualified electrician. The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. Choose the LED version for warm light with no bulbs to buy, or the E27 version if you prefer to pick your own bulbs.
