Description

The Garota S/01 is a globe pendant light made for outdoors. It has a rounded, woven brown shade that lets a warm glow through its open weave and down through the open base. The finish is Graphite & Brown, with a Brown shade. Its integrated LED draws 8.4W and gives 263lm at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so food, faces and planting look natural beneath it. Being an integrated LED, it needs no bulb to buy or change. The shade is 27cm across and 16cm tall, the canopy is 12cm across, and the fitting is 200cm in height overall.

Rated IP66 and made for outdoor use, it suits a terrace, a pergola, a porch or a garden dining table, and it is just as at home indoors over a dining table or in a living room. Hang one low over a table for a pool of soft light, or hang several in a row along a pergola for a relaxed, lantern-like glow at dusk. The woven texture brings the easy, sunny feel of a holiday house to a garden or a dining room, and the warm 2700K light keeps evenings calm rather than bright. It is dimmable (TRIAC) with a compatible dimmer, so you can turn it down low once dinner is over and the conversation carries on.

The Garota S/01 was designed by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà, and it is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre. The weave is close enough to soften the LED inside, yet open enough that the pattern of the shade reads clearly once it is lit. It runs at 230V and is a Class I fitting, powered from the mains and wired in by a qualified electrician, so we suggest deciding where it will hang, and whether you want a dimmer, before they arrive.
