Description

The Garota PF/02 is an outdoor ceiling light with one large globe shade, woven in Ivory White and gently flattened so it sits wide and low. The shade is 72cm across and the whole fitting is 56cm tall, held close to the ceiling on a short 10cm stem beneath a round canopy 12cm across and 5cm deep. We sell it in two light sources. The LED, TRIAC dimmable version has an integrated 17.1W LED giving 610 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The E27 bulb version takes two E27 bulbs of up to 15W each, and the bulbs are not included.

Rated IP66, it is built for outdoor use, so it suits a porch, a covered terrace, a pergola or a veranda, anywhere you want soft overhead light outside the house. At 72cm across it needs room around it, and it looks its best centred over an outdoor dining table, a seating area or a generous entrance. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Choose the LED version for warm light with no bulbs to replace and dimming through a compatible dimmer; choose the E27 bulb version if you would rather pick your own bulbs.

It is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre, and the open, even weave of the shade runs in fine vertical ribs from the top down to the rim. The shade is in Ivory White, with a white stem and canopy. The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. Before you order, measure the space overhead: allow 56cm of drop from the ceiling and 72cm of width, and decide which light source suits how you will use it.
