Description

The Garota PF/02 is a globe outdoor ceiling light with a wide, rounded woven shade in Brown and an inner diffuser that softens the light within it. The shade is 72cm across and the light is 56cm tall overall. It hangs from a 10cm stem and a round canopy 12cm across and 5cm tall. It comes in two versions by light source. The LED, TRIAC dimmable version has an integrated 17.1W LED giving 366 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so it needs no bulb and dims on a compatible dimmer. The E27 version takes two E27 bulbs of up to 15W each. The bulbs are not included, so you choose your own.

Rated IP66 and made for outdoor use, it suits a covered terrace, a porch, a veranda or a patio where you want one generous light overhead rather than several small ones. At 72cm across it has real presence, so it sits best where there is room around it: over an outdoor dining table, above a seating area or at the centre of a pergola. Once lit, the open weave lets the glow of the inner diffuser through, and by day the brown shade looks relaxed and natural in a garden setting. We like it for anyone who wants the warmth of a woven lantern outside.

It is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre, with a Graphite Brown structure and a Brown shade. The design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. It is a Class I fitting that runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Choose the LED version if you want dimming and no bulbs to buy; choose the E27 version if you would rather pick your own bulbs.
