The Galena is a 432mm outdoor half lantern with seeded glass panels behind a weathered zinc metal frame, fitted with two E14 candle bulb holders (bulbs sold separately). The half-lantern design mounts directly to the wall with a 162mm projection from the surface, keeping the fitting compact for porches, doorways and narrow passages where a full lantern would protrude too far into circulation space.

What bulb does it take?

Can it be used on a front door without a porch canopy?

The IP44 rating is designed for positions with overhead cover. If your door has no porch or canopy and the fitting would be fully exposed to rain from above, a higher IP rating (IP65 or above) would be more appropriate for long-term reliability.

How is the seeded glass cleaned?

The seeded glass panels can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and dried immediately. For stubborn marks, a small amount of glass cleaner on the cloth is acceptable, but avoid spraying directly onto the fitting as liquid can enter the seal around the frame and compromise the IP rating over time.
