Description

The Frame is a 580mm drum-style chandelier built around a double-ring gold metal frame, with clear embossed glass tubes forming a cylindrical curtain around the perimeter and a central cascading column. Six E14 bulb fittings sit inside the frame on curved arms, casting light outward through the glass tubes and downward through the central column. The tubes are ribbed on the surface, creating vertical diffraction lines when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Frame provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 620mm to 1325mm, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or positioned higher in double-height spaces. The gold finish on the metal frame provides warmth against neutrals and pairs with warm-toned woods, brass hardware and marble surfaces.

Each of the six E14 fittings accepts candle or golf-ball bulbs up to 60W (bulbs sold separately). The glass tubes are embossed rather than plain, so they catch and refract light differently depending on viewing angle, creating vertical striations of brightness across the drum. The central cascade of tubes extends below the main drum, adding vertical emphasis and making the fitting work well in rooms with higher ceilings where a flush drum might feel visually truncated.

What bulbs does the Frame take?

The chandelier has six E14 (small Edison screw) fittings, each rated for bulbs up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The drop is adjustable from 620mm to 1325mm on installation. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The central cascade extends below the main drum, so allow clearance for head height in circulation areas.

Can the height be adjusted after installation?

The height is set during installation by adjusting the chain length before fixing the ceiling canopy. Once installed, changing the height requires removing the canopy and re-adjusting the chain.

How is the glass cleaned?

The embossed glass tubes can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, individual tubes can be removed from the frame (consult the product manual for disassembly guidance), washed in warm soapy water, dried fully and replaced.
