Description

This is a single artificial foxtail stem in pink, 76cm tall and 25cm across at its widest spread. A slim main stem rises and then branches into several fine sprays, each lined with narrow, needle-like leaves and finished with a soft, bristly flower spike. Those spikes are textured rather than flat, so they add movement and depth as well as colour. The stem is made entirely of polyethylene and weighs 0.062KG. Polyethylene is a light, flexible plastic, which is why the sprays can be bent and set by hand rather than staying fixed.

At 76cm it gives height to a floor vase or a tall vase on a sideboard, console table or mantelpiece, and the 25cm spread keeps it airy rather than bulky. On its own in a narrow vase it draws a quiet, graphic line on a windowsill, a desk or a bedside table.
