Description

The Fortano is a 6-light chandelier built around six brass arms radiating from a central black column, each arm supporting a frosted white glass cylinder shade housing an E27 bulb fitting. The brass arms are rectangular in cross-section rather than round, giving the fitting a geometric profile that contrasts with the soft cylindrical glass. A matt black central stem and canopy ground the warm brass tone and tie the black bulb holders into the overall composition.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Fortano provides ambient light across a 67cm spread. The adjustable drop ranges from 53cm to 75.4cm, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or set higher in open-plan spaces. The six E27 fittings accept standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose light temperature and brightness.

The brass finish on the arms shows a satin sheen that softens reflections under daylight and pairs with both warm wood tones and cooler greys in contemporary interiors. The frosted glass cylinders diffuse direct glare from the bulbs while maintaining enough transparency to show decorative filament bulbs if fitted. The rectangular arm profile creates shadows and highlights that shift as you move around the room, adding visual interest beyond a standard round-arm chandelier. The IP20 rating restricts the Fortano to dry indoor locations only.

The chandelier has six E27 (Edison screw) fittings, each rated for bulbs up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K, or with decorative filament-style LED bulbs which show through the frosted glass.

What ceiling height is needed?

Is the Fortano dimmable?

No. The IP20 rating means the Fortano is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs, or any space exposed to moisture or steam.
