Description

The Fora S is an outdoor pendant light with a woven drum shade in Light Beige, wrapped around a white opal globe that spreads a soft, even glow through the weave. The shade is 50cm across and 30cm tall, and it hangs from a canopy 12cm across on three fine wires, with a drop of 60cm to 184cm. It comes in two versions. The LED, TRIAC dimmable version has an integrated LED of 17.1W giving 755 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so there is no bulb to buy. The E27 bulb version takes two E27 bulbs of up to 15W each, and the bulbs are not included.

Rated IP66 and made for outdoor use, it is happy hanging over a garden dining table, on a terrace or under a pergola, where the woven shade sits naturally alongside outdoor furniture and planting. It works just as well indoors, over a dining table or in a living room, bringing a relaxed, natural texture to a scheme of timber, linen and stone. Pick the LED, TRIAC dimmable version if you like to lower the light for long evening meals; it works with a compatible dimmer. The E27 bulb version needs only its two bulbs.

The Fora S is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene and synthetic fibre, and the design is by Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà. It runs on 230V and is a Class I mains fitting, wired in by a qualified electrician, whichever version you choose. Before ordering, measure from the ceiling or overhang to the table top, so you can plan a hang that sits comfortably within the 60cm to 184cm drop and leaves clear headroom around it.
