Description

The Folie S/60 is a large ribbon pendant light with a two-tier shade of White Translucent Ribbon, pleated in fine vertical folds. A straight upper drum sits on a wider, flared lower tier, and a slim dark ring circles the join between them, so the tiered shape reads clearly even when the light is off. Switched on, the light glows softly through the translucent ribbon. The shade is 60cm across and 39.2cm tall, and it hangs on a 150cm cable for an overall height of 189.2cm. It takes three E27 bulbs of up to 15W each.

A shade this size belongs where it can hang as the main light: over a dining table, or in the centre of a living room, where its soft glow gives the space a gentle focus. Its 60cm shade suits a larger table or an open room with space around the light. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is an indoor fitting. The three E27 bulbs are not included and are bought separately. You will need them before it gives any light, and because it takes standard E27 bulbs you choose the light you want, at up to 15W each.
