Description

The Focus is a single surface-mounted spotlight built from white-finished aluminium with a cylindrical head that swivels on a ceiling-mounted base. The 6cm diameter spotlight head houses a GU10 fitting rated for bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), and the head tilts and rotates to direct light onto artwork, worktops, or architectural features.

Designed for residential and commercial spaces where task or accent lighting is needed without track installation, the Focus fits standard UK ceiling roses and plaster ceilings. The 13cm projection from ceiling to head base allows the light to be angled down onto a surface or wall, making it suitable for kitchens, home offices, galleries, retail displays, and hospitality interiors where individual features need highlighting. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish provides a clean, non-reflective surface that pairs with minimalist, Scandinavian and modern commercial interiors. The swivel mechanism holds the head in position once angled, avoiding drift over time. At 19.5cm total height when mounted, the fitting suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights without intruding into head space, and the narrow 6cm diameter head keeps visual bulk low compared to larger downlights.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

The Focus takes a GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED GU10 between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K for accent lighting, or a cool-white 4000K for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cylindrical head swivels and tilts on the ceiling-mounted base, allowing you to direct light onto specific areas or features. The swivel mechanism holds position once set, without needing to be locked or tightened.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor areas only. For bathroom or outdoor use, a higher IP-rated spotlight (IP44 or above) is required.

How is it installed?

The base plate fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or plaster ceiling using the provided mounting hardware.
