Description

The Fluxon is a 1030mm linear island pendant light built around a rectangular gold-chrome frame with a multi-tiered curtain of cut crystal drops hanging beneath. Eight E14 bulb holders sit inside the frame, each positioned to backlight the crystal layers and create refractive patterns when lit. The frame combines a brushed gold upper section with polished chrome accents along the lower edges.

Designed to hang above kitchen islands, dining tables and console units in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Fluxon suits spaces where the light fitting is viewed from below and from the side. The 1030mm length covers island units in the 1200-1600mm range without overwhelming narrower tables. The 400mm drop from ceiling to the base of the crystal curtain allows the fitting to hang 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height. Suspension cables are adjustable on installation.

The crystal drops are arranged in three tiers, with longer rectangular prisms forming the bottom layer and shorter drops stacked above in a waterfall configuration. Each crystal is individually hung on fine wire, creating movement and light scatter as air currents shift the pieces. The dual finish — warm gold on the upper frame and cooler chrome along the lower edges — provides visual separation between ceiling and light source, and pairs the fitting with both warm brass hardware and cooler stainless or chrome elements in the same room. The eight E14 bulbs (sold separately) give the fitting flexibility to use low-wattage LEDs for ambient light or higher-output candelabra bulbs where more task light is needed.
