Description
We stock the Floeva as an outdoor wall light in black, built around a rectangular metal frame with textured diffuser panels that soften the light and break up glare from the bulb. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 15W (sold separately), so you can pick the brightness and colour temperature that suit the spot. Rated IP65, it is sealed against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction, which is what makes it happy on an exposed exterior wall.
We would put the Floeva on porches, patios, garage walls and garden structures where you want a bit of usable light by the door as well as some detail on the wall itself. The textured panels cast a soft play of light and shadow onto the surface around the fitting once it is lit, and the black metal finish sits comfortably against brick, render, weatherboard and stonework in both modern and more traditional schemes.
The fitting mounts to the wall on a rear plate and runs on a 220-240V AC 50Hz supply, so it is a straightforward job for a qualified electrician. It is not dimmable on its own, though you can add that by choosing a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer. Because it uses a standard E27 socket, you are free to fit an LED, CFL or filament bulb and change the colour temperature and running cost whenever you like.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Floeva take, and is one included?
It uses a single E27 bulb rated up to 15W. No bulb is included, so you can choose your own. The standard E27 socket accepts LED, CFL or traditional filament bulbs, which lets you set the colour temperature and running cost to suit.
Can I use this outdoors?
Yes. The Floeva carries an IP65 rating, which means it is protected against dust and against low-pressure water jets from any direction. That makes it suitable for exposed positions such as porches, patios, garage walls and garden structures.
Is it dimmable?
Not on its own. The light itself is not dimmable, but you can dim it by fitting a dimmable LED bulb together with a compatible dimmer switch (both sold separately), so you can take it from full brightness down to a softer glow.
How is it powered and mounted?
It runs on a 220-240V AC 50Hz mains supply and fixes to the wall on a rear mounting plate with cable entry at the back. We would recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician for a safe, weatherproof connection.
