Description

We stock the Floeva as a low-level LED bollard light for outdoor paths and borders. It is built around a vertical black metal column with integrated 9W LED panels that give 580 lumens of warm white (3000K) light. The light source sits behind clear panels on two opposing faces, casting a controlled 86 degree beam forward and back along the path while keeping spill out of adjacent planting and windows.

We would use it along residential pathways, driveways and garden borders, or on commercial external walkways where you want steady light at ground level rather than a bright security flood. The 3000K colour is warmer than the 4000K tone many security bollards use, so it stays comfortable where the lighting is seen from living spaces, and the black finish settles into darker paving, gravel and low planting.

The housing carries an IP65 rating, so it is protected against dust and water jets from any direction for year-round UK outdoor use. The 9W LED is integrated and non-dimmable, with an 80 CRI that lets planting and hard landscaping read naturally after dark, and it runs on 220-240V AC mains via buried IP-rated cable or surface conduit. Its energy class is G.

Frequently Asked

Is this bollard suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which protects it against dust and water jets from any direction, so it is suited to year-round UK outdoor use on paths, driveways and garden borders, including spots that see heavy rain.

How is it wired and powered?

It runs on 220-240V AC mains and is designed for a fixed connection using buried IP-rated cable or surface conduit. We would recommend a qualified electrician for the installation.

Is the light dimmable, and can I change the bulb?

No, this version is not dimmable, and the 9W LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb. It gives a fixed 580 lumens of warm white 3000K light.

What is the difference between the 9W and 18W Floeva bollards?

This is the 9W version at 580 lumens, which suits gentle path and border lighting. The 18W option in the same range and black finish is brighter for larger areas or where you want more light on the ground.
