Description

We stock the Flat Ring as a horizontal LED wall light in black, measuring 300mm across. An integrated 6W LED sits behind a frosted diffuser that runs the length of the black metal frame, giving 730 lumens of warm white light at 3000K in a wide 120 degree spread. The result is even linear light along the wall, with a gentle wash both upward and downward from the fitting.

We like the Flat Ring for hallways, corridors, bedroom walls and living room accent lighting, where its low profile and long diffuser suit a clean, minimalist look. Mounted on its backplate at a typical height of 1.5 to 2m, it spreads the 730 lumens across roughly two to three metres of wall. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms and outdoor use.

The black powder-coated metal frame keeps the fitting neutral against both contemporary and pared-back interiors. The LED is integrated and non-dimmable, running on standard 220 to 240V mains at 50Hz with no separate driver or transformer needed. Its CRI of 80 handles everyday ambient and accent lighting well, though it is not intended for colour-critical tasks. If you need the same fitting on a wider run of wall, we also stock the 430mm version.

Is this wall light dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 730 lumens of warm 3000K light. It needs a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for dry indoor spaces only. We would keep it to hallways, bedrooms and living rooms rather than bathrooms or any outdoor position.

Does it need a separate driver or transformer?

No. The 6W LED is integrated and wires straight to standard 220 to 240V mains at 50Hz, so there is no external driver or transformer to fit.

How is it different from the other Flat Ring wall light?

This is the 300mm version. We also stock a longer 430mm Flat Ring in the same black finish for wider stretches of wall, so choose by the width of the space you are lighting.
