Description

We stock the Flat as a linear LED pendant built around a single horizontal bar suspended from a black metal canopy on adjustable cables. An integrated 20W LED runs the length of the bar behind a frosted diffuser, giving 2480 lumens of warm white (3000K) light in a wide 120 degree spread with no visible hotspots or individual LED points.

We designed it for kitchen islands, dining tables and counter areas where you want even light across the surface below rather than a narrow spotlight. The pendant hangs on adjustable cables so you can set the drop to suit the worktop or table during installation, and the frosted lower diffuser softens the output to reduce glare when you are seated beneath it.

The frame, suspension and ceiling canopy are all metal finished in black, keeping the profile slim while the bar stays rigid. The LED is rated at 80 CRI for accurate colour rendering and runs on 220-240V AC mains. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only and is not dimmable, and it sits in energy class D.

Frequently Asked

Is this pendant dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed 2480 lumens of warm 3000K white and does not work with a dimmer switch.

Do I need to buy bulbs?

No. The LED is built into the bar, so there are no separate bulbs to buy or replace. You get the full fitting with its 20W integrated LED and the black metal canopy and cables ready to install.

Where does it work best?

We recommend it over a kitchen island, dining table or counter. The 120 degree beam spreads 2480 lumens evenly across the surface below, and the adjustable cables let you set the hanging height during installation.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or any location exposed to moisture.
