Description

We stock the Flarity suspension rod in black as an adjustable drop component for track lighting, letting you hang a track rail or single spotlight lower than the ceiling itself. It is made from black aluminium, with a cylindrical ceiling mount at the top and a track adapter socket at the base, so a standard track head sits at whatever drop height the room needs.

We use it most in commercial and retail spaces, gallery hangs and high-ceilinged rooms, anywhere overhead track alone would leave the light too far from the display, worktop or feature. Because the rod can be cut to length during installation, the same part suits a modest drop over a counter or a much longer reach down from a tall ceiling.

The ceiling mount sits close to plasterboard or a suspended ceiling and hides the connection point, while the socket at the base takes any compatible track head so the spotlight can still be rotated and angled once fitted. The black finish matches the rest of the Flarity track rail and spotlight housings, keeping a single clean line across the run. This is a non-dimmable component; any dimming is handled by the track head and its own driver.
