Description

We stock the Flarity as a cable pendant suspension adaptor for single-circuit track, made from matt black aluminium. It clips into standard single-circuit rail and lets a cable drop hang a track head or spotlight below ceiling height, so a fitting made for the rail can work as a suspended pendant instead.

We reach for this adaptor in kitchens, hospitality spaces and retail interiors where track is already in place but a lower, focused light is wanted. Because the head drops on a cable, you can position it over a worktop, dining table or bar counter rather than leaving it flush against the ceiling, which extends what a track system can do beyond wall-washing and directional accent work.

The adaptor uses standard single-circuit connectors, so it is compatible with track systems that share that fitting, and the matt black aluminium sits well against most rail finishes and both traditional and modern rooms. It is a mechanical part rather than a light in its own right: it carries no dimming of its own, so whether the fitting dims depends on the bulb and track head you attach. The track head and bulb are not included.

Frequently Asked

What does this adaptor do?

It converts a track spotlight or head into a suspended pendant. It clips into standard single-circuit track and a cable drop lowers the fitting below the ceiling, so you can hang the light over a worktop, table or counter.

Is it dimmable?

The adaptor itself is a mechanical part and does not dim. Whether the light dims depends on the bulb and track head you fit to it, so check those against your dimmer.

Will it fit my track?

It uses standard single-circuit connectors, so it works with single-circuit track systems that share that fitting. It is made from matt black aluminium to sit neatly against most rail finishes.

Is a bulb or track head included?

No. You buy this as the suspension adaptor on its own, so the track head and bulb are supplied separately and can be chosen to suit your track and the light you want.
