Description

We stock the Flarity extension rod as a simple way to add a 156mm vertical drop between a ceiling-mounted single-circuit track and the head above it. It is machined from aluminium in a matt black finish, and it sits inline between the track and a compatible track head so you can lower the light without moving the track itself.

This rod suits spaces where the ceiling is high and you want the light source closer to the surface below, such as a kitchen counter, a display shelf or a piece of wall art. By dropping the head 156mm you gain tighter directional control over higher shelves and worktops without having to angle the spotlight steeply, and the track position stays exactly where it is.

The rod connects into the standard single-circuit track system at the top and accepts a compatible track head at the lower socket. Its 156mm length is fixed, and the matt black aluminium is designed to match the other black components across the Flarity track range, so connectors, end caps and heads all read as one system.

Frequently Asked

What does this extension rod do?

It adds a fixed 156mm vertical drop between a ceiling-mounted single-circuit track and the track head, so you can bring the light closer to a counter, shelf or display without repositioning the track.

Will it fit my track?

It is made for the standard single-circuit Flarity track system. It connects to the track at the top and takes a compatible track head at the lower socket, so pair it with matching single-circuit components.

Is it dimmable?

The rod itself is a passive component and is not dimmable. Any dimming depends on the track head and bulb you fit to it, so check those parts for their own dimming options.

What finish and material is it?

It is machined from aluminium with a matt black finish, chosen to sit alongside the other black parts in the Flarity track range such as connectors, end caps and heads.
