Description

We stock this Flarity suspension rod as the 1.5m drop that lowers a black track lighting system away from a high ceiling. It is a single component, made from black-finished aluminium at 1500mm long, so the track rail and its heads sit at a working height rather than tight against the slab above.

We reach for it in double-height rooms, mezzanines, galleries, retail floors and converted spaces where the ceiling is well above head height but the light needs to come down closer to the table, worktop or display. It carries both the fixing and the electrical supply down the central core to the Flarity rail, keeping one clean black line from ceiling to track. For a shorter or longer drop we also stock the 1m and 500mm rods in the same finish.

This is a component only, so it is not dimmable in its own right and takes no bulb; any dimming is handled by the heads you fit to the track. It suits the black Flarity track and fittings, and installation needs a secure fixing into a joist or ceiling structure that can hold the rail and its spotlights. If you are unsure which drop length you need, measure from your ceiling point down to the height you want the track to sit.
