Description

We stock the Flarity surface-mounted pendant track in black as the 2m foundation rail for a low-voltage modular lighting run. It is a black aluminium extrusion that carries the current on a 24V DC circuit, so the spotlights, pendant adaptors and suspension kits from the Flarity range clip straight into the channel rather than needing their own wiring. The matt black finish keeps the rail low-profile against darker ceilings.

The 2m length gives you a single run to share across a kitchen island, a gallery wall, a retail display or a run of desks, so several fittings draw from one connection point. We fix it directly to the ceiling or a beam through the mounting points along the extrusion, and because it runs on 24V DC rather than mains voltage it is a reassuring choice where fittings sit close to hand. Fittings slide along the channel and lock in place, so you can move a spotlight or pendant whenever the layout changes.

This is a component rather than a finished light, so no lamps are included and the fittings are bought to suit. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, which means it is not suitable for bathrooms, covered outdoor areas or anywhere exposed to damp. The track itself does not dim on the rail; dimming is handled by the driver on the wider 24V system, so pair it with a compatible dimmable driver if you want to vary the brightness.

It takes the 24V DC track fittings from the Flarity range, including the spotlights, pendant adaptors and suspension kits. They clip into the channel and lock in place, so you can reposition them along the 2m run without any rewiring.

Are any lights included?

No. This is the surface-mounted rail on its own, so it does not include lamps or spotlights. You choose the Flarity fittings you want and add them to the track to build up the run.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so we would not fit it in a bathroom, a covered outdoor area or anywhere exposed to moisture. It suits living spaces, kitchens, offices and retail interiors.

Is the track dimmable?

The rail itself does not dim. Dimming is handled by the driver on the wider 24V DC system, so if you want to vary the brightness you pair it with a compatible dimmable driver rather than dimming at the track.
