Description

We stock the Flarity suspension rod as a 500mm black aluminium stem that drops a section of 24V track below the ceiling. It fixes to the track at the ceiling end and carries a rail or track-mounted spotlights at the lower end, so you can bring the fittings down to a more useful height without mounting the whole system flush to the ceiling.

We reach for this rod in rooms with high ceilings, where a fixed ceiling run would leave spotlights too far from the surfaces they need to light. The 500mm drop suits showrooms, galleries, retail counters and tall living spaces, letting you position directional heads closer to artwork, displays or a work surface. It is finished in black to match the rest of the Flarity track components for a consistent look across the ceiling and the suspended section.

The rod is machined from aluminium for a light but rigid drop that holds steady when spotlights are angled or adjusted. It runs on Flarity's DC 24V track and carries an IP20 rating, so it is for indoor, dry locations only. It is not dimmable in itself; any dimming is handled by the driver and controls behind the track.
