Description

We stock the Flarity track pendant adaptor in black as the part that turns a section of 24V track into a hanging point. It clips into the track rail and locks into position without tools, giving you a place to suspend a pendant cable or rod where the track already runs. The adaptor carries no lamp itself, so think of it as the mechanical and electrical link between your track and whatever pendant you hang from it.

We find it most useful when you want pendant lights over a counter, table or display but fixing into the ceiling is awkward or you would rather keep everything on the track you have already installed. Because it sits on the rail rather than a fixed ceiling point, you can reposition the drop along the track as a retail, gallery, hospitality or home layout changes. The black finish sits quietly against a dark ceiling or reads as a contrast against a lighter one.

The body is black aluminium and the adaptor is built for 24V DC track, so it pairs with low-voltage systems where several pendants run from one transformer rather than mains-voltage track. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, and it is not dimmable in itself; any dimming comes from the driver and control behind the track. It ships as the adaptor only, ready to take your chosen pendant suspension.

Frequently Asked

What does this adaptor actually do?

It converts a point on your 24V track into a pendant drop. It clips into the rail and locks into place without tools, then holds a pendant cable or rod suspension so you can hang a light from the track instead of the ceiling.

Does it come with a bulb or pendant?

No. This is the adaptor on its own. It is the interface between the track and your pendant, so you choose the suspension and light fitting to suspend from it separately.

Will it work with mains-voltage track?

No. It is made for 24V DC low-voltage track systems, the kind where several pendants are powered from a single transformer, rather than mains-voltage track.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces such as retail, gallery, hospitality and home interiors, so keep it away from damp and outdoor locations.
