Description

We stock the Flarity as an 800mm curved pendant track in black, a surface-mounted rail that lets you run track pendants along a curved line rather than a straight one. It is an aluminium extrusion finished in black, built to mount directly onto a ceiling or soffit where you want a track lighting system without recessing anything into the surface. The rail carries low-voltage power along its length, so compatible track pendants (sold separately) clip in through built-in connectors.

The curved profile suits kitchens over an island, retail displays, galleries and hospitality spaces where the run needs to follow a curved ceiling edge, an island counter or a bulkhead. Because the track holds the curve, you can follow that line with a single section rather than joining several straight pieces. Pendants clip in anywhere along the rail and can be moved as your layout changes, without re-wiring each fitting.

The Flarity curved track runs on a 24V DC low-voltage system fed from a single mains connection at one end, which then carries power through the rail to every pendant clipped along it. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it away from moisture, and it is not dimmable in itself. The aluminium body is finished in a textured black powder coat that helps hide fingerprints and reduce reflections. Wiring back to the mains should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

The track clips to the surface via fixing points along its length, but the single mains feed at one end should be wired by a qualified electrician, since it connects to your 220-240V supply through a driver.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it to rooms away from moisture such as kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and hospitality areas rather than bathrooms.
