Description

We stock this Flarity Live Parts connector as one of the electrical components in our modular 24V DC track system. It is made from black aluminium and carries the low-voltage current between track sections, so the parts of a run stay powered as you build the layout you want across a ceiling or wall.

It is made for dry interior settings such as retail displays, galleries, home offices and kitchen task lighting, where a track run needs to be joined, extended or branched. Because it works on a low-voltage 24V DC supply, you pair it with a separate transformer (sold separately), and its matt black finish sits quietly against darker ceilings so the hardware stays discreet.

The connector is rated IP20, which means it is protected against solid objects but not against water, so keep it to dry indoor locations only. It is not dimmable in itself; any dimming is handled by the driver and control you choose for the wider system. The aluminium build keeps it light while holding its shape under the luminaires you mount on the track.

Frequently Asked

What does this Live Parts connector do?

It is one of the electrical parts of our Flarity 24V DC track. It carries the low-voltage current between track sections so your luminaires stay powered as you join or extend a run.

Does it need a transformer?

Yes. It runs on a 24V DC supply, so you need a separate transformer (sold separately) to step the mains down to 24V for the track.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which gives protection against solid objects but none against water, so we recommend it for dry indoor rooms only.

Is it dimmable?

The connector itself does not dim. Any dimming on a 24V DC track comes from the driver and compatible control you fit for the system rather than from this part.
