Description

We stock the Flarity live parts track adaptor in black as the component that connects a pendant fitting to a powered 24V DC track rail. A black aluminium canopy clips into the track and makes electrical contact with the live rail inside, so a pendant can be positioned anywhere along the run without a separate cable back to the ceiling. The aluminium build keeps it light while holding the drop steady beneath the canopy.

We use it on residential and commercial track lighting where pendants need to be added or moved along an existing rail, such as kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and hospitality venues. The black finish sits against black track and darker ceilings, keeping the mounting point quieter than a bright metallic finish would. Because contact is made through the track itself, there is no wiring run to each pendant position, which keeps the ceiling line clean.

The adaptor runs on 24V DC and is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor spaces and should be kept away from bathrooms and other damp areas. It is not dimmable on its own; any dimming depends on whether the track system handles it at the power supply. The canopy and body are black aluminium, and the part clips securely into the track channel to draw power from the live rail. Bulbs and pendant fittings are not included.

Frequently Asked

What does this adaptor do?

Its canopy clips into a Flarity 24V DC track and makes contact with the live rail, so a pendant can be added or repositioned anywhere along the rail without running a separate cable to each point.

Will it work on any track?

No. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a compatible powered 24V track rail. It cannot be used with standard mains-voltage track, so please check your track before ordering.

Is it dimmable and suitable for a bathroom?

The adaptor itself is not dimmable, so any dimming depends on whether your track system provides it at the power supply. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.

What is included?

You get the black live parts track adaptor on its own. Bulbs and pendant fittings are bought separately to suit your scheme, as this is supplied purely as a connecting component for the Flarity 24V track.
