Description

We stock this Flarity live parts component as a 24V DC element for building and reconfiguring low-voltage track lighting. It is made from aluminium in a black finish, so it sits quietly against a dark ceiling and reads cleanly against a white one, without the visual weight of a mains-voltage conduit. It carries the live supply through the track run so fittings can be added and moved along it.

We see these parts used in homes, retail spaces and hospitality settings where the lighting needs to move over time. Because the track carries the current, individual fittings can be repositioned along the run without re-wiring, which suits gallery walls, shop displays and adjustable task lighting over a kitchen worktop or desk. The IP20 rating means it is built for dry indoor use rather than bathrooms or outdoors.

Running the track at 24V DC keeps the shock risk low and lets the profile and fittings stay slim and light. The part is non-dimmable on its own, so any dimming depends on the driver and controller you run the system from upstream. It is designed to work within the Flarity live parts range, so we would not rely on it fitting other makers track systems.

Frequently Asked

What voltage does this run at?

It is a 24V DC live parts component, so it needs to be paired with a compatible low-voltage driver and the matching Flarity track rather than wired straight to the mains.

Is it dimmable?

The component is not dimmable on its own. Any dimming depends on the driver and controller you run the track from, so check those upstream parts for dimming support.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, which covers living spaces, retail and hospitality interiors but not bathrooms, wet areas or outdoor locations.

Will it fit other track systems?

It is designed for the Flarity live parts range, so we would not count on it being compatible with track systems from other manufacturers.
