Description
We stock the Flarity as a flexible surface-mounted track in black aluminium, measuring 650mm in length. The bendable aluminium profile lets you shape it into curves, arcs and sweeping runs rather than being fixed to a straight line, and it accepts DC 24V track pendants and spotlights so you can build the lighting layout you want.
We reach for a flexible track like this where the lighting needs to follow the shape of a room rather than sit in a straight row. It suits curved kitchen islands, circular display areas, reception desks and retail zones, tracing the line of an island, counter or run of shelving. Because it is surface-mounted, it fixes straight to the ceiling with no recessed channel, which makes it a sensible choice for solid ceilings and concrete soffits where recessing is not practical.
The black powder-coated aluminium gives a low-glare finish that sits quietly against a darker ceiling and pairs neatly with black pendants and spots. The track runs on a DC 24V low-voltage supply, so it needs a separate driver, which is specified and bought separately. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only, so we would not fit it in a bathroom or anywhere exposed to moisture, and it is not dimmable at the track.

Frequently Asked
Do I need anything else to run this track?
Yes. The track runs on a DC 24V low-voltage supply, so you will need a separate driver, along with your chosen DC 24V pendants or spotlights. The driver and fittings are bought separately so you can size them to your layout.
Can I really bend it into a curve?
Yes. The aluminium profile is flexible, so you can shape it into curves, arcs and sweeping runs on the ceiling rather than being limited to a straight line. This lets it follow a curved island or a circular display.
Where can I fit it?
It is designed for dry indoor spaces only. With its IP20 rating we would not fit it in a bathroom, outdoors or anywhere exposed to moisture. As a surface-mounted track it fixes straight to the ceiling, so it works well on solid ceilings and concrete soffits.
Is it dimmable?
No. This track is not dimmable, so it is best paired with fittings and a driver set to your preferred brightness. If you need dimming, we would look at a compatible dimmable driver and fittings instead.
