Description

The Flareon is a 100mm cube outdoor wall light housing two integrated 6W LED modules that cast warm 3000K light both upwards and downwards from a matt black aluminium body. Each LED module sits behind an internal reflector, channelling light onto the wall surface above and below the fitting to create symmetrical pools of illumination.

Designed for residential entrance porches, commercial building facades, courtyard perimeters and external staircases, the Flareon provides accent and task lighting rather than flood coverage. The dual-beam output highlights architectural features, frames doorways, and marks pathway edges without spilling light into adjacent rooms or across neighbouring properties. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact on narrow facades and beside windows.

The black aluminium body carries an IP54 rating, protecting the internal LED modules and driver from dust ingress and water spray from any direction. This makes the fitting suitable for exposed positions on coastal properties, under open eaves, and on walls facing prevailing rain. The non-dimmable LED configuration delivers consistent output across the fitting's operational range without requiring external dimmer compatibility.

What does IP54 mean?

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress (the '5') and water spray from any direction (the '4'). The Flareon can be installed in exposed positions on external walls, under open eaves, and in coastal locations, but should not be submerged or subjected to high-pressure water jets.

Can the Flareon be used in a bathroom or shower?

IP54 is not sufficient for direct shower spray or bathroom zones requiring IP65 or higher. The Flareon is designed for outdoor facade use, not internal wet rooms.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. The Flareon has two integrated 6W LED modules pre-installed inside the housing. These are not user-replaceable and are covered under the 5-year warranty.

What direction does the light cast?

The fitting casts light both upwards and downwards from the central cube body, creating symmetrical pools of illumination on the wall surface above and below the fitting. It does not project light forwards away from the wall.
