The Flareon is a 20cm rectangular outdoor wall light with four integrated LEDs housed inside a white metal body, rated IP54 for outdoor installation. The LEDs deliver a combined 25W output at 3000K, casting warm white light downwards through a recessed linear aperture at the base of the fitting. The white powder-coated metal body measures 200mm wide by 100mm projection from the wall, giving a low-profile presence against exterior walls.

Designed for mounting above garage doors, alongside front entrances, on patio walls and along garden paths where functional downlighting is needed, the Flareon provides a clean architectural accent without needing separate bulbs or ongoing maintenance. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for exposed UK outdoor conditions. The non-dimmable LEDs are rated for approximately 30,000 hours at full output before noticeable degradation.

The white finish on the metal body provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both white-painted and natural brick or render exteriors. The rectangular form and linear light aperture give the fitting a contemporary profile that reads as architectural detail rather than purely functional lighting. What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It can be mounted on exposed exterior walls, under eaves, or in covered porches. It is not fully waterproof and should not be installed in locations where it would be directly submerged or face sustained water jets.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The four LEDs are integrated into the fitting and cannot be individually replaced. The LEDs are rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 10 years at 8 hours per night. After this period the entire fitting would need replacing.

Is it suitable for installation near a front door?

Yes. The 25W 3000K output provides sufficient warm white light for safe entry and exit at a front door. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, reducing the chance of it being knocked or obstructed by door movement.

Does it come with fixing screws?

The fitting includes a mounting plate for wall fixing. You will need to supply your own screws and wall plugs appropriate to your wall type (brick, render, masonry block). Standard 50-60mm masonry screws and plugs are typically used.
