Description

The Farum is a single-light bathroom wall light built around a champagne-finish metal backplate, curved arm and conical opal glass shade. The stepped circular backplate mounts flat to the wall, and the arm extends 215mm to position the G9 bulb holder inside the frosted cone. The opal glass diffuses the light source, reducing glare and creating a soft wash of ambient illumination across a vanity or mirror area.

Designed for bathroom use, the Farum carries an IP44 rating for protection against water splashes, making it suitable for positioning beside mirrors, above sinks or flanking vanity units in ensuites and family bathrooms. The fitting works as a symmetrical pair either side of a mirror or as a single unit in smaller powder rooms. The 240mm height and 178mm width give it a compact presence that fits standard bathroom proportions without dominating wall space.

The champagne finish is a warm brushed metal tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass, pairing cleanly with both traditional bathroom schemes (ceramic tiles, white porcelain) and transitional interiors mixing classic shapes with neutral palettes. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes, making the Farum suitable for bathroom zone 2 (areas outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure). It works beside mirrors, above vanities and on walls adjacent to basins, but should not be installed inside a shower cubicle or directly above a bathtub.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The fitting includes a 3W G9 LED bulb on delivery, so it is ready to install and use without a separate bulb purchase.

Can I use a brighter bulb?

The maximum wattage is 3W LED for a G9 bulb. This is the manufacturer's specified limit for safe operation with the opal glass shade and the fitting's thermal design. Using a higher-wattage bulb may cause overheating and void the warranty.
