Description

We stock the Exility T-connector as the part that joins three surface-mounted track runs at 90 degree angles, letting a single track system branch in three directions from one point. It is machined from aluminium and finished in matt black, with internal conductors that carry power across all three arms so the circuit stays continuous through the join.

We reach for this connector when a track layout needs to turn a corner and branch off a main run at the same time, so you do not have to fit a separate corner piece and a straight piece. It suits gallery lighting where tracks follow a wall and branch into the centre of a room, kitchen tracks that run along a ceiling edge and extend over an island, and retail displays where the track has to adapt around fixture positions.

The aluminium build keeps the T-connector light while holding the join rigid where the runs meet under tension, and the matt black finish keeps it low-key against white or light ceilings so the track reads as one continuous line rather than a set of separate parts. It accepts standard Exility track rails and, as a passive component, is not dimmable itself; any dimming is handled by the track fittings you pair with it.

Frequently Asked

What does this T-connector do?

It joins three Exility track runs at 90 degrees so a single surface-mounted track can branch in three directions from one point, keeping the circuit continuous across all three arms.

Will it fit my existing track?

It accepts standard Exility track rails, so it connects to the rest of the Exility surface-mounted track system. It is not designed to join track from other ranges.

Is the connector dimmable?

No. The connector is a passive part that carries power through the join, so it does not dim on its own. Any dimming is set by the track fittings and driver you run on the circuit.

What is it made from and what finish is it?

It is machined from aluminium and finished in matt black, which keeps it light but rigid and helps it sit discreetly against white or light-coloured ceilings.
