Description

This is a set of three multicoloured stoneware cups, each holding 290ml and each painted by hand with its own pattern. One carries bold abstract shapes scattered with small dots, one has large round spots, and one has fine upright stripes. Each pairs its outside with a contrasting handle and an interior in a different shade, so the three look like relatives rather than triplets. They measure 9.5cm across and 7cm tall, a low, wide, rounded shape that sits comfortably cupped in two hands.

At 290ml each cup takes a generous pour: a milky coffee, a proper cup of tea, or hot chocolate on a cold afternoon.
