Description

The Everly is a 268mm wide pendant light with a bulbous seeded glass shade suspended from an olde bronze canopy and rod. The glass is mouth-blown with air bubbles trapped inside during the forming process, giving it a textured seeded appearance that diffuses light softly while maintaining transparency. A single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the glass, visible through the shade and designed to pair with decorative filament bulbs.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and entrance halls, the Everly works well in multiples spaced 600-900mm apart over a long surface, or as a single pendant in smaller rooms. The drop is adjustable on installation from 615mm to 1372mm, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or 800-900mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The olde bronze finish on the metalwork is a mid-tone brown-bronze with subtle antique patination.

The bulbous profile of the glass gives the Everly a fuller presence than narrow cylindrical or conical pendants, while the 268mm diameter remains compact enough for use in pairs or triples without overwhelming a space. The seeded texture scatters light into a softer glow than clear glass, reducing glare from exposed filament bulbs while still allowing the bulb itself to be part of the design. The olde bronze pairs comfortably with warm woods, darker cabinetry and neutral-toned interiors.

What bulb does it take?

The Everly takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W, sold separately. The seeded glass and visible bulb fitting pair well with decorative LED filament bulbs in warm white (2200K-2700K) to enhance the vintage-inspired aesthetic.

Is it suitable for kitchen islands?

Yes. The 268mm diameter and adjustable drop from 615mm to 1372mm make the Everly well-suited to kitchen islands when installed 800-900mm above the worktop. Multiple Everly pendants can be spaced 600-900mm apart over longer islands.

What is seeded glass?

Seeded glass contains small air bubbles trapped during the blowing process, giving it a textured appearance. This scatters light softly and reduces glare from exposed filament bulbs while maintaining transparency to see the bulb inside.

Can the drop be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable during installation by cutting or coiling the cable inside the canopy. Once installed, further adjustment requires taking the pendant down and re-adjusting the cable, so set the desired drop during the initial fitting.
