Description

This is a single artificial eucalyptus stem in pink, 100cm tall and 35cm across at its widest spread. A long, slender main stem rises bare for much of its height before branching into a loose head of narrow, curving leaves, each finely striped along its length, with clusters of small round buds dotted between them. The stem is 80% polyester, 10% iron and 10% polyethylene, and the whole piece weighs just 0.074KG, so it gives an arrangement height without adding real weight to the vase.

At its full 100cm, this is a stem for a tall floor vase or a deep basket, and it brings height and movement to a mixed bouquet of faux flowers. The leaves fall in soft curves, softening the outline of rounder blooms such as hydrangeas or dahlias and filling the gaps between them. Use it on a sideboard, a hallway console or a mantelpiece, or let one stem stand alone in a slim vase for a quieter look. An artificial stem needs no watering, so it suits a spot where fresh greenery would struggle, such as a dim landing or a shelf out of reach.
