The Erich is a 3-light pendant from Maytoni built around an oval aluminium frame in a nickel finish, with three white opal glass globe shades suspended beneath. Each globe houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 40W. The frame measures 89cm long by 25.5cm deep, with the globes sitting 15cm in diameter, making this a proportionally wide fitting suited to dining tables, kitchen islands and rectangular spaces rather than compact pendants.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Erich works over 1.6-2.2m dining tables or kitchen islands where multiple pendant points would clutter the ceiling. The oval frame distributes the three light sources evenly along its length, giving balanced illumination across the surface below rather than concentrating light in one spot. The nickel finish on the aluminium frame provides a satin-metallic tone that sits between polished chrome and brushed steel, pairing with both warm and cool interior palettes.

The white opal glass globes diffuse the light from the three E14 bulbs, softening direct glare and giving ambient rather than focused task light. This makes the Erich more suitable as atmospheric dining or kitchen island lighting than as primary worktop lighting where sharper downlight is needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces only. The 89cm frame length suits dining tables between 1.6m and 2.2m long. For shorter tables the frame may overhang; for longer tables a second pendant or a larger multi-light fitting may give better coverage.

Is the suspension height adjustable?

Yes. The height is adjusted during installation by shortening the cable run before connecting to the ceiling rose. For dining tables the frame typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface; for kitchen islands 750-850mm works depending on ceiling height.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces only. For bathrooms, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.
