The English Bridle is a 321mm outdoor wall lantern cast from metal in a matt black finish, with a clear seeded glass shade housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The glass is textured with air bubbles and surface variation that diffuse the light source when lit, giving the appearance of hand-blown period glass. The lantern body is shaped with decorative turned detailing on the top finial and base, and a scrollwork band sits beneath the canopy where the lantern meets the wall backplate.

Designed for installation on external walls around porches, side entrances, garage doors and courtyard walls, the lantern carries an IP44 rating that protects against splashing water and solid objects above 1mm. The 191mm projection from the wall means the fitting extends far enough to cast light down a path or onto steps without sitting flush to the brickwork.
